Pastor Ola Amuda has withdrawn from participating in the governorship primary under the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria. This was contained in a release signed by him on Sunday, 7th August 2016 at his Campaign situation Office near Ilesha Motor Park, Awule Rd Akure..
Although, the reasons for this step were not stated in the release but information emanating from the office indicated that the step was not unconnected with the unresolved leadership crisis that have engulfed the Party both at the National and State levels..
While he appreciated all for the unparalleled support he has enjoyed so far, Ola Amuda used the opportunity to appeal to his numerous supporters and well-wishers to be calm and await the outcome of the various consultations his team is making .with stakeholders on the issue.
