#Eid-El-Filtri: Mafo Salutes Muslim Faithfuls, Exhorts Nigerians

The favourite Governorship aspirant of the PDP in Ondo State, Prince Mafo Ola John, fondly called MOJ, has congratulated all Muslims in Ondo State for the successful conclusion of the month of Ramadan and the worldwide celebration of Eid-El-Filtri!

Mafo postulated that the 30 days of fasting and abstinence typify the need for discipline, forbearance, moderation and obedience in our general conduct and activities as citizens of a developing country.

The Prince from Aheri Kingdom in Ilaje Local Government, who is also regarded as the faithful disciple in party circles for his consistency, declared, "any country or society where anything and everything go, where the citizens lack discipline, self-control and forbearance, will stay a long time in the wilderness".

According to the frontline politician, "if all citizens, learn to abstain from sins and all forms of evil or negative conducts, as Muslims try to do during the month of Ramadan, the country will be a better place for all Nigerians"

He exhorts all Nigerians, as part of the Ramadan mood, to allow a moment of sober reflection on our nation, past, present and future, submitting that, "we should all as a matter of principle and dogged commitment adopt and adapt the spirit of purity, abstinence, long-suffering and tolerance, which are integral to the faithful observance of Ramadan".

"As we celebrate today, singing, dancing, winning and dinning, I wish all Muslim devotees, Ramadan Kareem! And to all Nigerians, especially the good people of Ondo State, I recommend a better society and the emergence of a new state and by extension a new Nigeria, where good conduct, patriotism and selfless services will herald the birth of a new era of hope, great expectations and the fulfilment of the dreams of our founding fathers and the visions of our heroes past, as a state and a nation. So, help us God!".
