The frontrunner in the fast-approaching Ondo State Gubernatorial Election, Agboola Ajayi (PDP) has bagged a recognition award from the National Association of Irele Local Government Students as a role model of distinction in educational support and exemplary leadership.
Presenting the award to recipient earlier this week at his Okitipupa residence, the President of NAILGOS, Solomon Oke, congratulated him for his unflinching supporting toward students of the association and that of the sunshine states at large. NAILGOS under Solomon Oke's hegemony also seized the ample medium to declare their unshakeable support for him.
He said: "You've always thrown your weight behind we students of this noble association and that of Ondo State at large. The leadership skill and support you exhibited preceding, during and after your tenure as the Deputy-Governor of our State has earned you this recognition.
"We are very much aware that the Ondo State Gubernatorial Election is around the corner and we are assuring Your Excellency of our full support as a result of our belief in your capacity."
In his remark upon the receiving the award, Ajayi applauded NAILGOS for recognizing his achievement in context of students and subsequently assured them of more support, restoration of bursary upon his emergence and revisitation of their concern about the hiked tuition fee.
"Thank you so much for this recognition as this has once again validated my passion for the promotion of Students welfare. You can be rest assured that I shall restore bursary for our Students and also ensure I take their concern seriously in face of the unacceptable tuition fee imposed. He assured.
Meanwhile, reacting to this development, the Coordinator for Agbo Youths & Students Movement (AgboYSM), Ijanusi Olawale (Optimum) encouraged them and the vast students of Ondo State to stand with Agboola Ajayi to rescue the State from mediocres that has brought nothing but opposite of development to our Sunshine State.
