The National Youth Alliance has announced the appointment of Dr. Ajagun Olusegun Peter PhD as the Director-General of the Centre for Democratic Innovation, CDI.
Dr. Ajagun, a distinguished financial expert and lecturer in the Department of Accounting at Lagos State University (LASU), brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Forensic Accounting and is expected to leverage his expertise to drive innovation and growth at the Centre.
According to a statement released by Hon. Jacob Dickson, Special Adviser to the NYA Youth President and National Chairman, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, the Youth President praised Dr. Ajagun's credentials and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the Centre towards achieving its goals.
"As the resource and intellectual department of the NYA, the CDI will be responsible for organizing seminars, workshops, and training programs in governance, party organization, and administration, among others.
With his extensive background in finance and accounting, Dr. Ajagun is well-positioned to drive the Centre's mission to promote democratic values and innovation among young people", the statement concluded.
