The Ondo State People's Democratic Party (PDP) State Youth Leader, Hon. Folorusho Makinde has appreciated the leadership of the Party for reinstating him back to office. In an appreciation email he issued to newsmen on Monday morning, Makinde said the past is gone and he is committed to the Party's victory in the upcoming polls.
"I wish to express my appreciation to Basorun Tola Alabere, Acting State Chairman and esteemed Members of the State Working Committee (SWC) of PDP Ondo State for lifting my suspension as the State Youth Leader of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State. I deeply appreciate the support and understanding shown by the local government leaders and the entire executive committee." the statement read.
"Our party, the PDP, is more than just a political organization; it is a family. United, we stand strong, ready to face the upcoming governorship election with confidence and determination. My loyalty to the PDP remains unwavering, regardless of any challenges or misunderstandings that may arise. I am committed to our shared goals and the betterment of our state and nation."
Makinde also appreciated the Party's governorship candidate, His Excellency Agboola Ajayi. "By God's grace, we look forward to your leadership as the next governor come November 2024. You are a man of your words with genuine intentions for the people of Ondo State." he said.
The former Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Youth and Students used the medium to praise the Party, PDP. "The PDP has always exemplified good governance, adherence to the rule of law, and a genuine concern for the masses. Our focus on empowering both youth and women sets us apart from parties like the APC, which often view power as a means to financial gain rather than service. May God bless the PDP Ondo State, and may He continue to guide and support all our youths who represent the future of our great state. Together, we will achieve victory and ensure a brighter future for all."
