Dr. Adekunle Akindele, the immediate past Caretaker Chairman of the People's Democratic Party(PDP) in Osun State, has charged youths of the PDP in Ilutitun Osooro, Okitipupa LG of Ondo State to take the lead in ensuring the party's victory in the upcoming November election.
Speaking during a meeting with over 50 PDP youths from the area held a few days ago after the general ward meeting facilitated by Akindele, he emphasized the crucial role young people play in shaping the political landscape.
"We are compelled by every right to demand a better future for ourselves and generations yet to come. Ondo State has endured excessive suffering under the APC's leadership, whose ineptitude is evident at every level. To rescue our state from this decline, unity and steadfastness must be your guiding principles," Akindele emphasized.
As a native of Ilutitun Osooro and one of the leaders of the three Wards in the town, the Special Adviser On Health to Osun State Governor, Akindele, urged the youths to mobilize and work towards delivering victory for the PDP. He also endorsed Agboola Ajayi, citing his experience and grassroots mobilization skills as key factors that will contribute to the party's success.
The meeting was seen as a strategic move to galvanize support among young party members and position the PDP for victory in the forthcoming election. With Akindele's leadership and the enthusiasm of the PDP youths, the party is poised for a strong showing in November.
