The BTO4PBAT27 APC Support Group has announced plans to commence a statewide unit tour across polling units in Ondo State as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group disclosed this in a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, noting that the exercise would be conducted under the leadership and support of the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
According to the statement, the tour is aimed at consolidating support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 while deepening the group’s presence at the grassroots level across the state.
The group explained that the initiative would provide a platform for engagement among party members, stakeholders, supporters, and community leaders, with a view to strengthening the structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the unit level.
It stated that the exercise would also create opportunities for interaction, exchange of ideas, and mobilization of supporters in furtherance of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration.
“As preparations enter the final stage, all state, local government, ward and unit coordinators, as well as leaders and members of the group, are encouraged to get ready for this important exercise,” the statement read.
The group expressed confidence that the tour would help build a stronger and more united grassroots network capable of delivering greater support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
The unit tour is scheduled to commence in July 2026 and will cover various polling units across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State.
