AKURE – Senator Olajide Ipinsagba, representing Ondo North Senatorial District, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as the exemplary leadership and political wisdom displayed during the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination process.
Ipinsagba, who emerged as the APC candidate for the 2027 Ondo North Senatorial election, said the conduct of the primary reflected President Tinubu’s commitment to democracy, fairness and internal party cohesion.
In a statement made available to journalists, the lawmaker expressed appreciation to the President for providing purposeful leadership that continues to strengthen democratic values within the ruling party and inspire confidence among its members nationwide.
He also lauded the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for ensuring what he described as a transparent and credible nomination process that reflected the wishes of party stakeholders.
Ipinsagba equally acknowledged the support of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, whom he praised for his commitment to the unity and progress of the APC, Ondo State and the country.
The senator also thanked party leaders, delegates, political associates, grassroots mobilisers, youths, women and supporters across the six local government areas of Ondo North Senatorial District for their loyalty, prayers and confidence throughout the primary process.
According to him, the overwhelming support he received has further strengthened his resolve to provide quality representation, champion people-oriented legislation and facilitate impactful development projects for the district.
While describing the outcome of the primary as a victory for the APC, Ipinsagba urged members of the party to embrace reconciliation and close ranks in the interest of future electoral success.
He stressed that unity remains the strongest pillar for sustaining the party’s achievements and delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to remaining accessible to his constituents while pursuing policies and programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, empowering youths and women, and accelerating socio-economic development across Ondo North.
Ipinsagba also called on party faithful and other stakeholders to continue supporting President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that the administration would sustain policies capable of promoting economic prosperity, national development and lasting peace across the country.
