The Ondo State Youth Network (OSYN) has announced plans to officially launch the maiden edition of its magazine as part of efforts to promote youth journalism and constructive public discourse in the state.
According to a statement issued by the OSYN Magazine Crew, the inaugural launch is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Ojaja Hotels, Alagbaka, Akure, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The organisation described the publication as a landmark initiative designed to provide a platform for young people to contribute meaningfully to discussions on governance, leadership, development and other issues affecting Ondo State and the nation.
OSYN said the magazine would mark the beginning of a new era in youth-driven journalism and public engagement, while serving as a voice for the aspirations, achievements and concerns of young people across the state.
The group extended invitations to youth leaders, members of the media, stakeholders, the general public and members of the Ondo State Youth Network to attend the event and witness the unveiling of the publication.
According to the organisers, the launch promises to be a historic gathering that will celebrate youth creativity, civic engagement and the role of the media in advancing sustainable development in Ondo State. They urged all invited guests to participate in what they described as a memorable occasion that would shape the future of youth journalism in the state.
