There is an International Monetary Fund, IMF expose on Nigeria’s finances under Tinubu’s regime; over N8.8trillion unaccounted spending outside the budget perimeter. Simply put: Tinubu’s regime borrowed and spent N8.8trillion, 2 percent of Nigeria’s GDP on projects they can’t name. Corruption and incompetence have done more damages than good in the last 3 years, according to the IMF. None of this money is captured in Nigeria’s 2026 budget.
