Ede Stakeholder Hails Bunmi Jenyo, Describes Him as Architect of Osun’s Industrial Growth

An Ede North stakeholder and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Oluwaseyi Olaitan, has showered encomiums on the Osun State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Rev’d Bunmi Jenyo, describing him as one of the most impactful public office holders in the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Olaitan, who spoke on the recent recognition of the commissioner as the Best Commissioner in Nigeria, said the honour was a reflection of Jenyo’s outstanding contributions to investment promotion, industrial development, and economic transformation in Osun State.

According to him, the Commissioner has distinguished himself through his commitment to attracting investments and creating opportunities capable of improving the economic fortunes of the state.

He particularly commended Jenyo’s role in the revitalization of the Living Spring Free Trade Zone, describing the project as a major catalyst for industrial growth and job creation.

“Through strategic engagement with investors and relevant stakeholders, Hon. Bunmi Jenyo has helped restore confidence in the Free Trade Zone and positioned it as a viable destination for manufacturing, logistics, agro-processing, and other business opportunities,” Olaitan stated.The Ede North stakeholder noted that beyond the Free Trade Zone, the Commissioner has continued to champion initiatives aimed at making Osun State attractive to both local and foreign investors.

He added that several businesses are beginning to see Osun as a favourable destination for expansion, while local entrepreneurs are also benefiting from policies designed to encourage enterprise growth and economic participation.

Olaitan said one of Jenyo’s greatest strengths is his ability to combine vision with execution, noting that many of the achievements recorded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry are products of hard work, strategic planning, and sustained engagement with investors.

He described the Commissioner as a dedicated public servant whose efforts align with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s vision of building a prosperous and industrialized Osun State.

According to him, the impact of the Commissioner’s work will be felt for many years through increased investments, expanded economic opportunities, job creation, and the growth of critical industries across the state.Olaitan therefore congratulated Rev’d Bunmi Jenyo on the recognition and prayed for greater accomplishments in his continued service to Osun State and its people.

“His achievements have made Osun proud and demonstrated what is possible when public office is driven by vision, commitment, and genuine passion for development,” he said.
