AGAIN! Students Abducted In Kogi As Bandits Leave 3 Dead In Shocking Attack

Fresh concerns over school security have emerged in Kogi State after suspected bandits launched a deadly attack on Government Secondary School, Iluke Bunu, in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area. According to reports, the heavily armed attackers, said to have arrived on motorcycles, invaded the community, killing a female student, the school’s Vice Principal, and another victim whose identity is yet to be confirmed. An undisclosed number of students and residents were also reportedly abducted during the assault. The incident comes barely weeks after the abduction of dozens of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State, further fueling fears of renewed attacks on educational institutions across Nigeria. Meanwhile, a leaked intelligence report allegedly issued by the Department of State Services (DSS) has warned security agencies in Edo State to remain on high alert over possible plans by terrorist groups to target schools for mass kidnappings. The development has sparked fresh debate about the protection of schools, the handling of intelligence among security agencies, and the growing insecurity threatening communities across the country
