BTO’s Political Structure Remains Formidable Force for Tinubu’s Re-election in Ondo, Group Says

…targets 90% votes for APC in 2027

The BTO FOR PBAT ’27 campaign organisation has described the political structure of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, as a formidable force capable of delivering overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections in Ondo State.

The group, in a statement signed by its Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, on Sunday, said Tunji-Ojo’s political influence in the state was anchored on his performance in public office, accessibility and strong grassroots connections.

According to the statement, the Minister has emerged as “one of the most influential pillars” of the APC in Ondo State, adding that his achievements and relationship with the people had strengthened confidence in the party and the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The group said the political structure built around Tunji-Ojo had the capacity to translate the achievements of the Federal Government into electoral support across the state.

It stated that the organisation had adopted an “Operation Deliver Your Polling Unit for the APC” strategy in line with its mandate, with plans to intensify mobilisation across the 18 local government areas, 203 wards and 3,933 polling units in the state.

The group further disclosed that it was targeting at least 90 per cent of the votes in Ondo State for President Tinubu’s re-election while also working to secure decisive victories for APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

“This is not merely an aspiration; it is an organised political mission anchored in grassroots participation, party unity and measurable electoral results,” the statement said.

BTO FOR PBAT ’27 also pledged continued engagement with party members and grassroots stakeholders, saying Tunji-Ojo’s political strength was derived from “performance, service, accessibility and the genuine goodwill he enjoys among the people.”

The organisation reaffirmed its loyalty to President Tinubu and confidence in the national leadership of the APC, while calling for collaboration among progressive leaders to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

It said under Tunji-Ojo’s leadership, the group would continue to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration and mobilise support for what it described as a “resounding APC victory” in the state.

The statement was signed on August 16, 2026, by Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, Director-General, BTO FOR PBAT ’27.
