…Group hails Tunji-Ojo’s performance as Interior Minister

A pro-Tinubu political group, BTO FOR PBAT ’27, has assured President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of its commitment to securing at least 90 per cent of the votes in Ondo State for his re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
The group also pledged to work for decisive victories for all All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates contesting National Assembly elections in the state.
The Director-General of BTO FOR PBAT ’27, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, stated this in an open letter to President Tinubu, where the group expressed appreciation to the President for appointing the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to the Federal Executive Council.
The group described Tunji-Ojo as a “reformer of exceptional capacity” whose performance in office had helped to strengthen public confidence in the Tinubu administration and deepen the political fortunes of the APC in Ondo State.
According to the group, Tunji-Ojo’s achievements in the Ministry of Interior had demonstrated the capacity of the Renewed Hope administration to reform public institutions, improve service delivery and restore citizens’ confidence in government.
It said the minister’s influence in Ondo State was based not only on political rhetoric but also on competence, accessibility, compassion and what it described as demonstrable results.
The group further told the President that Ondo State was “in safe political hands” with Tunji-Ojo, claiming that his grassroots network extended across the 203 wards in the state.
It said the network had brought together party members, community leaders, youths, women and other stakeholders committed to the Tinubu administration and the APC.
“Your Excellency, we respectfully assure you that Ondo State is in safe political hands with BTO,” the group said.
BTO FOR PBAT ’27 disclosed that it was intensifying its grassroots mobilisation across the 18 local government areas of the state ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group said its mobilisation strategy would involve sustained engagement from the community level down to wards and polling units, with members expected to communicate the achievements of the Tinubu administration to voters.
It maintained that consolidating the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda would require discipline, unity, strategic organisation and continuous engagement with the electorate.
“Our mandate is unequivocal: to secure at least 90 per cent of the votes in Ondo State for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” the group stated.
It also pledged to defend what it described as the progressive mandate, strengthen the APC at the grassroots and mobilise support for the President ahead of the 2027 election.
The organisation commended Tinubu for entrusting the Ministry of Interior to Tunji-Ojo, describing the appointment as one of the “most consequential decisions” of the administration.
It said the minister’s performance was a reflection of the President’s foresight and leadership judgement.
The group concluded by assuring Tinubu of its “total, resolute and unwavering” support, declaring that Ondo State, the grassroots and the BTO political structure were ready for the 2027 electoral contest.
