The people of Erekiti-Luwoye in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State have congratulated Pastor Olusegun Ayerin on his appointment as Chairman of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, describing the appointment as a recognition of his longstanding commitment to grassroots development and administrative excellence.
In a statement issued on behalf of the community, the people expressed appreciation to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for considering one of their own for the strategic position, saying the appointment demonstrated the Governor’s commitment to equity, fairness and inclusive governance.
The community said Ayerin’s emergence was in line with the popular sentiment of the people of Okitipupa Local Government, describing him as a distinguished son, father and brother whose contributions to public service and grassroots development had earned him widespread respect.
According to the statement, Ayerin has distinguished himself in both private and public life through his dedication, perseverance, industry and tenacity of purpose. It described him as a consummate administrator and a political strategist with a proven understanding of grassroots mobilisation and governance.
The people of Erekiti-Luwoye therefore commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for what they described as the right choice, while pledging their continued support and loyalty to his administration.
“Your Excellency, we are indeed very grateful for this appointment and for giving one of our own the opportunity to contribute further to the development of Ondo State,” the community said.
The community prayed for continued progress and development in Ondo State and Okitipupa Local Government, while wishing Governor Aiyedatiwa and Pastor Ayerin success in their respective responsibilities.
