A political support group, BTO For PBAT 27, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s most credible candidate to lead the party into the 2027 general elections.
The group made the assertion in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, insisting that Tinubu’s leadership has continued to provide the stability and direction needed to consolidate democratic governance and sustain ongoing economic reforms.
According to the group, the President has demonstrated courage, vision and commitment in implementing policies aimed at repositioning the country’s economy and strengthening national institutions despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.
BTO For PBAT 27 noted that while major reforms often come with temporary difficulties, the Tinubu administration has remained focused on laying a solid foundation for long-term economic recovery, sustainable development and national prosperity.
The group described the President as the APC’s strongest and most dependable candidate ahead of the 2027 polls, expressing confidence that his leadership would further advance the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
It maintained that the reforms being implemented by the current administration would ultimately yield lasting benefits for Nigerians and position the country on a path of sustained growth.
The support group also urged members of the ruling party to remain united and avoid actions capable of undermining the cohesion of the APC ahead of future political contests.
It further called on Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu administration, stressing that collective commitment and national unity were essential to achieving the government’s development objectives.
“BTO For PBAT 27 reaffirms that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the All Progressives Congress’ most credible candidate to guarantee Nigeria’s stability, consolidate democratic governance and sustain the bold reforms currently reshaping the nation’s economy and institutions,” the statement read.
The statement was signed by Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon on behalf of BTO For PBAT 27.
The group said it would continue mobilising support for President Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
