The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ondo Joint Campus Council (JCC), has announced plans to hold its 2026 Pre-Convention on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the College of Health Technology, Akure, Ondo State.
The pre-convention is part of activities preceding the 2026 NANS Ondo JCC Convention and is expected to bring together student leaders, representatives and stakeholders from institutions across the state.
In a statement issued by the JCC Chairman, Adekanye Mayomi Adeboye, the council said the gathering would provide an opportunity for participants to deliberate on issues affecting the student community and prepare for the next phase of leadership and representation within the council.
The event, tagged the “Unified and Redefined Era,” is aimed at promoting unity, inclusiveness, accountability and purposeful leadership within the Ondo State student community.
According to the council, the pre-convention will also provide a platform for constructive engagement among participating institutions, student representatives and other relevant stakeholders on matters concerning students’ welfare and interests.
NANS Ondo JCC urged student leaders, representatives, delegates and stakeholders expected to participate in the exercise to take note of the date and venue and make adequate preparations for the gathering.
The council reaffirmed its commitment to building a student leadership structure anchored on unity, accountability, inclusiveness and service, while working towards a stronger and more responsive student community.
