Adebare Names 15 Aides, Targets Wider Stakeholder Engagement in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo

The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Hon. Adeboye Adebare, has appointed 15 Personal Assistants as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement and improve communication with different communities and interest groups in the council.

The appointments cut across multicultural affairs, religious and traditional matters, political and intra-party affairs, logistics, special duties, as well as pensioners and retirees.

A statement issued on Wednesday by the Chairman’s Special Assistant on Media, Otunba Oluwapelumi Akinsiku, said the appointments were aimed at bridging communication gaps and creating more effective channels of engagement between the local government administration and residents.

The appointees include Aliu Ahmed and Hammed Isah, who were appointed Personal Assistants on Multicultural (Hausa); Peter Asuqwo, Multicultural (Calabar); Bernard Williams and Sunday Michael, Multicultural (Igbo); and Johnson Reuben and Ohronise Benson, Multicultural (Urohobo).

Others are Owolade Bartholomew, External and Intra-Party Affairs; Bakare Mutiu, Islamic Matters; Adetule Abiodun, Christian Matters; and Kareem Tajudeen, Traditional Matters.

Also appointed are Oludinni Elizabeth Fisayo, Political Office Logistics; Taiwo Joseph and Akintoyese John Taiwo, Special Duties; and Omolola Bamidele, Pensioners and Retirees Matters.

Adebare, while congratulating the appointees, charged them to see their appointments as a call to service and an opportunity to contribute to the development of the local government.

He urged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, humility and integrity, stressing that they were expected to serve as effective links between the administration and the various communities and stakeholders.

The chairman also advised the appointees to uphold the confidence reposed in them and put the interest of the people above personal considerations.

The new appointees are expected to report at the Conference Room of the Chairman’s Office on or before 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
