How To Create Pop Up Subscription Form for Feedburner

I published a tutorial that explains how to integrate Mailmunch with Feedburner email subscription form. In the tutorial, I used the MailMunch “embedded” form type which lets you easily add the optin form to anywhere on your site.

Unfortunately, the “embedded” form type cannot make your opt-in form to
pop up. If you want to make your form to pop up, you will have to make
use of the MailMunch “popover” form type.

The “popover” form type lets you create pop up subscription forms that can pop up on page load ( when a visitor lands on your website) and on page exit
(when a visitor is about to leave your website). If you set it to pop
up on page load, you can further customize how long the page should wait
before showing the popup. Default settings is 0 i.e no delay.

You can as well set the pop up not to display to the user on their first
visit to your website. i.e the pop up will only display after their
second visit to your site. More so, you can also set how many days
should pass before a visitor sees the pop up form again. If you want it
to be displayed only on a specific page, you can make use of MailMunch
    “display rules”.

Well, I’ve published a video on my YouTube channel that explains how to
create pop up form. You can follow the steps in the video to create a
pop up subscription form for Blogger blog or WordPress blog.

Photos: Ghanaian bride wears sneakers on her wedding day, explains her decision

A Ghanaian bride, Vera Ewura Obeng opted for custom-made desert boots
for her wedding on July 13. According to the professional photographer,
she took the decision after seeing the pain most women go through in a
bid to look glam on their Big Day. In a Facebook posted on July 20th,
the bride explained her choice of footwear and of course, clapped back
at those making fun of her.

    “After being a wedding photographer(‪#‎VeraObengphotography‬) for 6
years its only fair that I learn not to repeat what Brides go through
    over and over again.

For me, What is the point in wearing heels to church and remove it
during reception? I just don’t get it. If you want heels wear it through
out the event. I wore mine for 9 hours. I see Brides complaining about
the heels all the time. It even doesn’t make my photos nice. My “comboo”
as some are calling it is actually custom made “‪#‎HORESEMAN‬ HOOVES “.

We all copy and paste including me. Our problem is we do it without reading through what we have copied”
For those saying I am ‪#‎manifest‬ sister, “eeeiiii ghanafo) kasa” I’ve
only seen him once. It was from a distance in a hotel I went to work in.
It would be nice to have him as a big brother though. Never heard any
of his songs except the recent one to ‪#‎sarkodie‬. And I can say I
don’t understand a thing. Call me “kolo”. ” I like it like that.

Again for those suggesting my husband should have been in something
similar, thanks a lot for your suggestion. The idea was not to “combine
powers like captain planet “. He is an academician and I am an artist.
We can only adjust but not to change who we are. He loves me and I do
love him also. No need to change. “love you hFestus Attah Isoah Iso

And for my dress , I just don’t get the bit where I spend thousands of
mahama cedis on a dress I can’t wear again.. “I just can’t think far”
😂😂😂😂. Invite me to your baby christening and I will gladly come in
    it.

For me this was my dream wedding, if you choose to wear a heel as tall as me, at the end of the day, its all about our choices.

Note that I don’t have anything against wearing of heels and gowns. (you look like disney princesses  )

To all those who made Wednesday 13th July a Special day for my husband
and I, thank you. You have no Idea what it means to us. For those who
    “run” away to come…”

  • National Convention still holds on August 17th- PDP insist

National Convention still holds on August 17th- PDP insist

PDP says their party convention slated for August 17th in Rivers state
will still hold despite  yesterday’s court order by Justice Okon Abang
of the Federal High court, stopping the convention. Read the party’s
    press statement below:

The Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by the Chairman
of the National Caretaker Committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, CON has
reacted to the Ruling of a Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday July
28, 2016, presided over by the controversial Judge, Justice Okon Abang
describing it as objectionable, questionable and very strange to say the
least in the history of Nigeria Judiciary.

    The
Party in a statement by its Spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye declared that
what Justice Okon Abang did today is to Seat on an Appeal over the
Court of competent and coordinate jurisdiction and that’s what makes his
Interlocutory Order very strange. The Judgment of the Federal High
Court in Port Harcourt was very clear that the National Caretaker
Committee was duly constituted and recognized; and in line with that,
the scheduled National Convention for August 17, 2016 still holds.

We have just received information that Justice Okon Abang of the Federal
High Court in Abuja has granted an Order of Interlocutory Injunction
stopping our scheduled National Convention in Port Harcourt, Rivers
State, but we want to state that the Judgment of the 4th of July, 2016
supersedes any Ex-Parte Order or Interlocutory Injunctions. So, our
National Convention will hold as scheduled in Port Harcourt, Rivers
    State” Prince Adeyeye said.

Let Nigerians recall the two former Judgments before the Port Harcourt
Judgment, declared that Senator Sheriff is not qualified to be a
National Chairman given that the PDP Constitution 2014 which he claimed
brought him to power is not in existence and therefore, null and void.

The PDP wants Nigerians to know that Justice Okon Abang is deliberately
engaging in acts of derailing the Country’s democracy given the fact
that his Court is not an Appeal Court that can set aside any Judgment.
He has penchant for abuse of court processes and actions of legal
impunity. This Judge Nigerians will recall, issued Judgment against the
Governor of Abia State that led to INEC re-issuing another Certificate
of Return to a man who did not contest election thereby causing
unnecessary hardship on the people of that State. He also issued an
Order to INEC to recognize Senator Sheriff’s candidates in Edo and Ondo
states before they could even plan their purported congress in Edo.

In today’s Case, this same Judge out rightly denied the PDP
representation in Court which is unheard of by serving the Plaintiff
(Sheriff & Co.) who instituted the Case also as PDP (defendants).
His excesses are extremely absurd, strange and unbecoming of a Judge who
enjoys putting the Judiciary on the spot. We therefore bring this
matter before the highest level of Judiciary in the Country to stop this
Judge forthwith from waging war against the PDP.

We are equally calling on Nigerians and the international community to
compel Nigeria Judiciary to address Justice Abang’s excesses before he
    kills our hard earned democracy.
However, the Party is law abiding and therefore, will apply for Stay of Execution of this Order and also Appeal it.

Finally, the Party calls on all its members and teaming supporters
nationwide to remain calm and law abiding and be rest assured that the
PDP National Convention will hold as scheduled and all preparation
towards the August 17, 2016 National Convention remains the same.

    Signed:
    Prince Dayo Adeyeye
    Member, National Caretaker Committee

Sokoto uncovers 13,000 ghost workers in LGAs

    Governor-Aminu-Tambuwal

Sokoto State Government said it has discovered no fewer than 12,915
ghost workers whose names were added into the payroll of the 23 Local
    Governments Areas of the state.

The State Commissioner for Local Governments and Community Development,
Alhaji Mannir Dan-Iya, disclosed this at a media briefing in Sokoto.

    “The
Ministry, through the Monitoring Department and other stakeholders has
concluded a local government junior staff verification of about 58,143
workers, comprising of scheduled and unscheduled staff.

    “The
verification exercise has yielded a fruitful result, whereby about 12,
915 staff, comprising of seat-at-home and ghost workers were fished out
of the local governments staff payrolls.

“The state government has also saved over N319 million from the exercise, hence, it was a huge success.”

verification exercise of senior staff whose salaries are paid by the
Ministry through their respective bank accounts.

Commission were collaborating to sanitize the payrolls of the local
    governments.

“Any official of the local governments or the
ministry found to be wanting in this direction would be duly sanctioned.
The ministry and the commission have beamed their searchlights on the
various Departments of the 23 local governments, as well as the
ministry, and anyone indicted would be sanctioned,” he added.

The Commissioner also said that issues that arose from the exercise mostly
associated with ”human error” were being addressed in collaboration
    with the stakeholders.

Dan-Iya further explained that the ministry had successfully boosted
the internally generated revenues of the local governments by engaging
    consultants.

Photos: See the statue in Uruguay meant to honour Barca footballer Luis Suarez that fans are mocking and calling ugly

Barcelona and Uruguay star striker Luis Suarez  has been honoured with a
statue in his Uruguayan hometown, but his fans have blasted the
sculptor Alberto Morales Saravia, calling the statue a very ugly’
    version of the footballer.

    The sculptor admitted even
before the job was unveiled that he’d never met the former
Liverpool striker and was working from photos he had found of him on the
    internet.

Fans have even compared it to the statue monstrosity built for Lionel Messi in Argentina.
Saravia explained during the planning process to meida houses in Uruguay
: “What I am doing is very difficult. I’m doing it by looking at
