    A man, simply identified as Niyi is in police custody for allegedly st@bbing his bestie identified as Oyebanji Michael, to de@th over a misunderstanding.

    It was gathered that the unfortunate incident happened on Saturday, July 23 at their residence in Akure, Ondo State.

    “They had an argument over money and Niyi, clearly not in the right frame of mind, went to the kitchen to fetch a knife with which he used to st@b Michael in the neck.

    However, Neighbors who observed the commotion quickly rushed the victim to the hospital and he was pronounced de@d on arrival. Meanwhile, Niyi was whisked to Ala police station where he’s currently thinking about his life,” a source said.

    HAPPY Nacional fans have been celebrating with Luis Suarez face masks as the striker nears a sensational return to the club.

    The 35-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Atletico Madrid expired last month.

    The Uruguayan has been linked with a host of clubs since, with a recent report claiming that he had been offered to Borussia Dortmund.
    A more recent one has stated that Suarez will now not be heading to Germany.
    And instead he is set to return to the club in his homeland that he started his professional career at.
    MARCA claims that Nacional president Jose Fuente flew out to Spain in order to convince the star to come back after 16 years away.
    The club were in action last night in the Uruguayan top-flight.
    As they romped to a 5-0 win over Cerrito, around 20,000 Suarez face masks were dished out and worn by supporters.
    And in anticipation of their new returning hero, in the ninth minute of the game the crowd rose to chant his nickname: “Ole, ole, ole, ole, Lucho, Lucho!”
    Suarez left Nacional back in 2006 to move to Holland with Groningen after coming through the youth ranks with Motevideo-based outfit.

    He soon forged a friendship with Lionel Messi as he enjoyed huge success at the Nou Camp, winning the Champions League and LaLiga four times before he was given a free transfer in 2020.
    That led to a switch to Atletico Madrid, where he won the title in his first season, for a two-year spell.

    Manchester United may be set to swoop for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries if they can offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, as per Sport Witness.

    The aforementioned source carries a report from Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. The report claims that if Manchester United are able to sell Wan-Bissaka, they are ‘ready to make an offer’ for Dumfries as a replacement.

    Dumfries, 26, is reportedly admired in England for his ‘timing and physicality’ and has been a mainstay in the Inter side since arriving last summer. The Dutch defender joined Simone Inzaghi’s side from PSV Eindhoven for £12.3 million following an impressive UEFA European Championships campaign.

    He made 45 appearances for Inter last season, scoring five goals and contributing seven assists and could cost around €40 million.

    Wan-Bissaka’s future at Old Trafford is under threat having been displaced by Diogo Dalot as the Red Devils’ starting right-back last season. A return to former side Crystal Palace has been touted, with a loan move a possibility.

    The 24-year-old full-back. made 25 appearances last season and is unlikely to return to United’s starting XI under Erik ten Hag. The English defender has two years left on his current deal with the Red Devils but could be on his way out of Old Trafford.

    The longer the Jules Kounde saga goes on, the less

     confident that Chelsea fans will be about securing 

    his signature.

    While reports of an agreement between Sevilla and Chelsea started to emerge earlier in the week, there is still no movement on the deal. According to Sport, Chelsea have sent all the paperwork to Sevilla but are awaiting the green light from the club and Kounde.
    Meanwhile Barcelona, who have not yet made an offer but are widely reported to be after Kounde, are preparing a formal bid for Kounde. Chelsea’s deal is believed to be in the region of €65m in total, but includes add-ons and would be paid in instalments. Barcelona hope that they can persuade Sevilla to accept a lower offer by paying all of the money up front.
    Gerard Romero, as cited by Caught Offside, has backed up that idea by claiming that an official bid is on the way from Las Vegas, where Barcelona are on a preseason tour.
    Barcelona appear to be attempting a similar strategy to that which worked to bring Raphinha to the club. By convincing the player that Camp Nou is the only place to be, they buy themselves time and a little more rope to negotiate with.

    At 17 years of age, Hernandez has already

    become a name known by many amongst the

    youth ranks of Spanish football. Hernandez made

    his debut for the senior side with Girona last

    season but will at first join the Juvenil A side

    (under 19s).

    Renowned for his acceleration and ability to get

    goals from midfield, Hernandez is right-footed but

    tends to start from the left side so as to take

    advantage of his powerful shot.

    His signing is another example of Barcelona’s

    efforts to sign up the most talented youngsters in

    Spanish football, with Pablo Torre also arriving

    from Racing Santander this summer. After several

    seasons without much input from La Masia and

    young signings, Barcelona appear to be

    prioritising precocious young talent again.

    It’s been known to be a man’s planet. And while men, worldwide and Nigeria in particular, are generally ordained into the circle of Bishops and Archbishops, a few women successfully broke the glass ceiling and were ordained Bishops by their Christendom, Nigeria inclusive, inputs. In Nigeria, there are only four women successfully ordained into a Bishop’s ranks. While these women are particularly from the Christian world’s Pentecostalfold, it does not in any way diminish the authenticity of their faith or the power they exercise inside and outside of Christendom.

    These are the only four female Bishops in Nigeria:

    Bishop Oluremi Ayotunde Obembe: 

    She is the wife of late Archbishop Lanre Obembe, founder of the Church of the Bible in El Shaddai. Bishop Oluremi Ayotunde was ordained Bishop on June 16, 2009, two days after the burial of her late husband who was a one-time chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN. Her installation as a Bishop was accomplished hurriedly at the Dolphin Estate, Lagos, church headquarters to prevent a leadership vacancy following the death of her husband.

    Bishop Bola Odeleke

    Bishop Bola Odeleke, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday, is the first woman ever to be ordained a Bishop in Nigeria and also the first African woman to be ordained a Bishop. She celebrated her 25th year of ordination as a Bishop and 50 years of Christian faith on May 28. Mgr. Odeleke is the late Brigadier-General Lasun Odeleke’s widow. While the late General was a minister and the founding president of Christ Message Ministry, Bishop Odeleke is the Pentecostal Church’s founder and general overseer.

    Bishop Peace Okonkwo 

    Bishop Okonkwo is the Proprietress of Word of Power Group of Schools, and founder Rehoboth Homes and Skill Acquisition Centre; a place for stranded ladies. She also founded the International Women’s Prayer Conference (IWPC) – an interdenominational gathering of women that holds every month at the TREM HQ in Lagos. Together with her husband, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, she runs The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) and they have both made history as the first Nigerian Christian leading couple still alive to be ordained Bishops. While both founded the church, Bishop Peace is seen as the ‘Resident Pastor’ of TREM Church Headquarters, while her husband is regarded as the presiding Bishop. On 22 April 2006, she was ordained as a Bishop.

    Archbishop Margaret Idahosa 

    Being the respected mother, late Archbishop Benson Idahosa in no way prevented her from achieving the height she has attained in Christendom today. A woman with many firsts, Archbishop Margaret is not only the Church with God Mission International Archbishop with headquarters in Benin, but she is also the first African female Archbishop and the first Benson Idahosa University Chancellor, a position she still holds to date. The first Bishop was ordained in 1998 by the 76-year-old, shortly after passing on her husband and then being ordained Archbishop in 2009.

    The Christian Association of Nigeria on Wednesday dissociated itself from Bishops who attended the unveiling of the vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Kashim Shettima, saying they were desperados who went there for themselves.

    The organisation said that although the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was free to “hire mechanics and other artisans and sew clerical garments for them”, that effort would only add to their many ropes but would not change the need for fairness and justice.

    The Vice President of CAN (19 Northern States and Abuja) and its chairman in Kaduna State, Rev. Joseph John Hayab, said this in an interview with journalists in Abuja.

    He said, “The people we saw at the unveiling of Shettima paraded as Bishops are people who did not have enough time to learn how to wear Bishop garments. Take a closer look at their photo and you will see another Nollywood movie.

    For the millions of fans watching the reality TV show, they will think is the sexy Romantic health therapist Winston Otto who was nicknamed “Ashewo Pro Max” by his fellow Housemates simply because he massaged more than five ladies on the Night of his late arrival in the Royal House but NO it’s NOT Winston because he is very engrossed with Grace Acha AKA Gracie and has both have been spotted severally in the very romantic corner in the Royal House.

    Well, some will Think is Johnwealth, because he is one of the most outspoken persons in the House and one of the senior advocates of the Royal House before he had a fight with Moga the 3rd week Duke of the Royal House over the sharing of food… Well, it’s not Johnwealth Elohim, nor is it Moga Lucas who was once petitioned for stripping in the Royal House in front of his fellow Housemates just to prove that his Boxers are quality despite the price. Lol

    Well, I know you will think is Madu Chinonso who is obviously perceived to be a biased witness in the Royal Court, but NO, not Chinonso, it’s also not John Jaddi who has shown to be very much interested in Eno-Obong Akpan AKA fabulousenny and have been seen given intensive body massage to the Ladies in the Royal House. The person to most likely suspect will be Wildee Manfa who was the 1st Duke and apparently one of the best-spoken housemates in the Royal House but NO its not Wildee manfa. Wildee is obviously caught in the middle, the quintessential gentleman seems to like Victoria Lazarus aka VEE but Joy John AKA Grace-Child seems to be a secret lover.

    Fans will never really suspect Chidera because he is so loud and perhaps a good pair for Tracy jack AkA Tracy who is also perceived to be extremely loud and controversial but perhaps the two biggest Vibes in the Royal House. It is not Henry ikechukwu or any of the evicted Housemates like Michael Odinaka, Kenwoody ifeanyi, ekunola ayomide, Stanley Shedrach, David Sunday, Tega Oluwatosin or Odiong Ekpedeme rather it is the Royal Court Church Boy, and praise singer Israel Okoroafor AKA Chipraiz.

    Yes, Chipraiz is more than a singer; he has proven to be one the biggest ladies’ man who has gotten a few ladies in the Royal House to naturally fall in love with him. One of those ladies who fell victim to his love in the Royal House was Lois Abiodun who obviously fell in love with him and yet caught another female Housemate by the name of mercy on his bed. Mercy Oniobo who was dating Michaelloneless@gmail.com Odinaka before he was evicted seems to have also fallen for Chipraiz who is an excellent communicator. Chipraiz has also thrown advances on Blessing Promise AKA Vina who also seems to have secretly fallen with his good looks.

    Eunice Vantsawa AKA Vantsawa and Ibeh Gloria AKA UniqueGlo seem to be the only ones who have not been caught in the relationship circle.
