The Osun State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Dr. Bunmi Jenyo, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late brother, Olusegun Bibitayo Asiyanbola, on the eighth anniversary of his passing.
In an emotional remembrance message released on Friday, Rev. Jenyo reflected on the painful loss of his brother, describing his death eight years ago as a shocking farewell that remains fresh in his memory.
The Commissioner said the late Asiyanbola’s intentions, words, actions, passion, and exceptional dexterity continue to inspire family members and everyone whose lives he touched, noting that his enduring legacy lives on.
He described his late brother as a man who dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity, adding that his humility, sacrifice, and exemplary lifestyle remain worthy of emulation.
Expressing the hope of the Christian faith, Rev. Jenyo said he looks forward to the resurrection morning when they would meet again.
“Broda Segun, I miss you today as always, till the resurrection morning when we all shall meet to part no more. Sleep on, Beloved,” he wrote.
The remembrance comes as family members, friends, associates, and well wishers continue to celebrate the life and legacy of Olusegun Bibitayo Asiyanbola, whose memory, according to the Commissioner, remains a source of inspiration eight years after his passing.
