
The Nigeria Immigration Service, Ondo State Command, has announced that it is fully equipped to process applications and facilitate the production of the ECOWAS National Biometric Identity Card, ENBIC, for eligible applicants.
The Command, in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, DSI MT Ikuseedun, said personnel and members of the general public could now take advantage of its operational capacity to register for the biometric identity card.
According to the statement, the Ondo State Command has put in place the necessary facilities to register eligible applicants and facilitate the production of their ENBIC cards within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the completion of required registration, documentation and verification processes.
The Command encouraged interested applicants to visit the Nigeria Immigration Service, Ondo State Command, located on Igbatoro Road, opposite Continent Hotel, Akure, to access the service.
It also urged members of the public to help disseminate information about the availability of the service through appropriate channels.
The statement read in part, “Ondo State Command is ready and poised to serve you.”
The ECOWAS National Biometric Identity Card is a regional identity document designed to facilitate identification and movement among citizens of member states within the Economic Community of West African States.
The Command urged eligible members of the public to register for their ENBIC, assuring applicants of convenient and efficient service delivery.
